It’s been a little bit over a year since we opened for the first time, during this year we’ve been posting 65 doujins. Ranging from short ones with a few pages (but high quality!) to enormous full volume ones! It have been really fun and everything, and we would like to continue with this… but right now it seems that TheHiddenStuff will shut down, and everything we’ve been posted will be taken down.
It’s not for legal reasons, or anything like that. We haven’t had any problems with that (yet?), but rather a motivational problem. Posting stuff to a silent audience is not really the most amusing thing to do, like performing a stunningly awesome magic in front of no audience… it just ain’t fun. Therefore we may shut down TheHiddenStuff in the near future (until then it’ll just be as dead as always).
If we shut it down all local downloads will be taken down, the ones on Rapidshare and MediaFire will still be up though, for as long as they are allowed. The online galleries will also go away, as well as all tags and everything else with it. As I wrote, this have been fun during the time we did this, and being one of the most tagged and well sorted ad-free self-hosting doujin publishing sites as been amazing.
We will still continue to tag stuff, although this time well just do it in our own local collections (with a self developed software). The software is quite nifty actually, it’s sort of a doujin viewer with folder tagging compabilites. With that we are able to list thousands of folders and view doujins just as usual (but in bigger sizes), and we can also tag every folder (both those that got a doujin in them, and not). We can also set and categorize them into author and title and still keep them highly organized with the extensive tagging!
Well, anyway. For now we’re still up, but do not rely on our local downloads anymore as we may shutdown anytime soon.
Mm… I’ve been visiting your site for a few months now, and i’ve never really posted anythine, well, because i’m not the kind of guy who posts stuff… so I’m sorry to hear you shutting down, and I wanted to thank you for the stuff you’ve been doing up until now.

Aww…. I don’t want you guys to shut down, I’ve only known about this site for maybe few months now. I’d have to admit it’s a bit embarrasing to post, especially on some of the forums on the futanari stuff. It’s strange I’m not gay but I find it strangely erotic. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great stuff to read and hopefully you’ll reconsider… I’d especially like to see more Behind Moon, SagoJou, Amai Yuuwaku and lots more doujins. ^^
These news ruined my day.

um, might you be able to put up a download for all your stuff ? would make it kinda easier, then scrolling through everything(faster to) maybe a torrent ?

Aw, shame to hear that you’re considering getting rid of your material, it looks to all be of pretty high standard.

I just found this site today and the fact that this site will be shut down saddens me. I hope you would reconsider your decision. Its up to you in the end so do what you think is best for you.
It’s a pity you guys are thinking of shut down the sit, I just came arose your site tonight after reading a comic. I understand from your point of view why you thinking of shutting down.
The following, is for all the men and women who download from your site, if each of us tell at least ten other people of TheHiddenStuff.com… then they tell there friends, a lot of fans would are maybe keep them from not shutting down the site….Just my 2c worth.

Darn I only just found this (hard to find) place filled with all this good stuff (can barely remeber how i found it…where was i)…if you can get onto the blogrolls or linking to your site on some other popular sites, I bet a lot more people will come and thank you most generously for your hard and awesome work.

This site is like a finding paradise!
I find it pretty hypocritical of you to shut down, or consider shutting down your site. You dont offer a forum or do anything above the bare minimum to make this site popular. Comment boxes on images are very fun, links from other sites to here help, regular news posts about nothing is fun. People want to care, their just very lazy & need a push. Both us & you need to step it up.
